HWFC's mission is :To improve the wellbeing of children and youths in Jamaica and the Greater Hartford, Connecticut, area by helping to create a dynamic educational system that trains future entrepreneurs and social leaders. HWFC is a nonprofit organization recognized by the IRS as a 501c3 organization. Their projects include:
A Partnership with Foodshare and Bloomfield schools to provide the weekly backpack program. Providing students with meals on weekends
The renovation of Rock Hall basic school in Jamaica and the provison of new furniture.
Sponsorship of an after school program at The Rousseau Primary school in Jamaica
HWFC in partnership with Youngstar Promotions will be giving away backpacks with school supplies at the event.
